6 Months Old!

Asher is half a year old! He went to the doctor on his 6 month birthday. He now weighs 15 1/2 pounds and is 27 1/2 inches long. He's still in the 90th percentile for height and the 25th for his weight. He received four shots this time but he did very well. He has one tooth on the bottom.

Asher recently started to clap his hands. He likes to do this and has clapped a few times when Mommy merely told him to "clap your hands"! He's rolling all over, sitting up pretty well and trying crawl too.

Riding in the car has gotten so much better! Now Asher holds his toy mouse or bear and sucks his thumb while he rides. He is also going to bed much easier in the evenings. He has definitely mellowed out a bit!

During the day when he is home with Mommy, Asher still wants Mommy's attention all of the time! He watched me as I walk and around and try to do things around the house. He doesn't like to be in his jumperoo or play pen for long. He just wants to be where Mommy is all the time.

Asher loves to eat prunes, pears, bananas and pretty much any fruit. He dislikes green beans it seems but he does eat them.
