Fall Pictures

Sorry it's been awhile since new pics have been up. Today, we took some pictures of Asher in the leaves. Matt sat him down on the ground and Asher sat by himself for about a minute. He hadn't sat that long by himself yet! Oh yeah, he's also in his Halloween costume! Quack! He's also making crawling movements and started clapping his hands today. He's doing so many new things!

Friday night in Indianapolis

I meant to post these pictures before the post about Lexington because we were in Indianapolis before Lexington but oh well! My mistake. We went from Schaumburg to Indianapolis and spent the night in the city. It was a break for all of us because we hit yet another traffic jam on our way from IL to IN! It was no fun!

We made an unplanned stop in Lexington after our trip to Illinois/Indiana this weekend.

Some pictures from vacation

Here's some pictures from our stay in Schaumburg, IL. Matt's training is going well. The weather here has turned cold and rainy. High of 41 tomorrow!

Asher has been in the pool a couple of times but doesn't last long because it's a little colder than the bath water he's used to! Today, Asher and I went to different shops all day while Matt was in training. Asher did so well! He hardly fussed the whole day. He took a couple of naps in the car and was ready to go again!

Just a few weeks ago Asher had stranger anxiety but not anymore! His favorite thing to do while we're out now is smile and talk to strangers! It's very cute.

He's hanging in there at the hotel. He's not slept extremely well and has been waking up several times through the night (which means Mom and Dad get to wake up too). We're hoping that it's just the strange environment and that his good nighttime sleeping won't be affected when we return home. Last night. he finally did a 6 hour stretch. All the other nights, he had woken up after sleeping 2-3 hour periods. It was as bad as when he was a tiny baby!

He's 5 months old!

Is he really 5 months? The time is flying by.

Asher's current favorites:
*Rolling around on the floor
*Eating baby food prunes (tried them yesterday and they were a hit!)
*Standing up assisted
*Sneezine (he alwyas smiles after he sneezes)
*Swinging on the front porch
*Taking a nightly walk in his stroller
*As always, taking a bath! He loves his purple bath cup.

Asher's current dislikes:
*Being put in his crib before he's fully asleep
*Using the boogie sucker for his current cold (he screams!)
*Taking more than one nap a day!
